Back to Services

The Buffalo Medical Group Psychiatry Department has offered a comprehensive range of behavioral health services for adults 18 years of age and older for more than 10 years. Department physicians provide treatment for depressive, anxiety and bipolar disorders, dementia, personality disorders, eating disorders, dissociative disorders, sexual issues and dysfunction, and women’s disorders related to pregnancy and postpartum.

All four staff physicians are certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Two of them are qualified in geriatric psychiatry.

Department physicians evaluate new patients and determine appropriate follow-up care. In cases where medication is prescribed, physicians will monitor its use and provide ongoing treatment, as needed. If psychotherapy is required, arrangements will be made for a referral to a therapist.

Psychiatry services are provided at 6245 Sheridan Drive, Suite 316, in Williamsville, and 3345 Southwestern Boulevard in Orchard Park, Monday through Friday. Services are available by referral, or patients may self-refer.

Appointments may be arranged by calling 630-1000.
