Dr. Jehad A. Miqdadi joined the Buffalo Medical Group, PC, in 2004 as a member of the Gastroenterology Department,
and is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He also is an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Buffalo General Hospital.
He earned his doctor of medicine with high distinction at the University of Jordan, Amman-Jordan, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at King Hussein Medical Center in Amman-Jordan. Dr. Miqdadi also completed specialty training in Internal Medicine at UB and affiliated Buffalo hospitals, and was awarded a research fellowship in Gastroenterology and a clinical fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, both at UB.
Dr. Miqdadi is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Curriculum Development Committee at the UB Medical School, and is a former member of the Ethics Committee at Erie County Medical Center.
He is proficient in all GI procedures including Diagnostic and Therapeutic Upper Endoscopy, Enteroscopy, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Colonoscopy, Percutaneous Liver Biopsy, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and Endoscopic Ultrasonography (radial and linear echoendoscopes).
In addition to Buffalo General, Dr. Miqdadi is affiliated with several other area hospitals including Kenmore Mercy, DeGraff Memorial and Lake Shore.
