To me, treating people well means:
Treating people how you would want your family treated. Having seen how both of my parents were treated by different providers is enlightening. The power of a provider not just being good but kind to your family member is incredible. It is a great honor and privilege to be someone's provider. I also try to be kind and understanding to my colleagues. I feel that nurses work incredibly hard and are too often underappreciated.
One thing I can't live without:
My daughter, my everything, of course.
If i wasn't a medical professional, I would be:
I would be making pizza, really good pizza.
